Sakshi Agarwal is a well known name of South Cinema. Apart from being a well-known actress in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films, Sakshi Agarwal is also a famous model. Sakshi is the only actress in the South film industry to have done a professional course in acting from the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, Los Angeles, USA.
Born on July 20, 1990, Sakshi Aggarwal graduated in Information Technology from Anna University after studying at Good Shepherd Convent School in Chennai and then went on to pursue an MBA degree from Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship.
She has been a Gold Medalist during her studies in Information Technology from Bangalore. Sakshi Agarwal, a resident of Nainital, Uttarakhand, was a marketing consultant before joining films.
Sakshi was doing engineering and working in an IT company in Bangalore, when she participated in a charity fashion show for a friend. During this, a fashion designer caught sight of Sakshi and offered her for modeling. After this Sakshi started modeling and then after many printshoots and ads, Sakshi got offers in films.
Sakshi has appeared in over 100 TV commercials and photoshoots for brands like Air Asia, Hebron Builders, Kalyan Silks, ARRS Silks, CSC Computers, Malabar Gold, Shakti Masala among many others.
Sakshi, who made her acting debut during her modeling career, has since starred in leading and supporting roles in South Indian films. After getting the films, Sakshi never looked back.
Sakshi started her career with the 2013 Tamil film Raja Rani. After this, Sakshi got many consecutive films in which she proved her mettle in the South film industry with her strong acting.
Sakshi Aggarwal has worked in many superhit films like South’s ‘Kaala’, ‘Viswasam’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Adhyayan’. In the film ‘Kaala’, Sakshi appeared with superstar Rajinikanth. His performance in this film was highly appreciated. Sakshi Agarwal has also appeared in Tamil ‘Bigg Boss 3’.
Apart from acting, Sakshi is also a karate and kickboxing champion. Sakshi also loves to dance, she learned dance from Shiamak Davar.
