Colors TV’s Naagin 6 has been making lot of buzz ever since it was announced , right from its announcement to its casting. The show stars Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash, actor Simba Nagpal and Mahekk Chahal in pivotal role. With all the hype surrounding the 6th season, there was a lot of pressure on the makers and the cast to meet the viewers expectations.
And now it looks like the makers has surpassed all expectations. With a TRP of 2.1 ratings in the opening week, Naagin 6 created a record for scoring top ratings for a show that airs only twice a week. The supernatural saga made it to the list of top 10 ITV shows on the BARC TRP charts. In fact, producer Ekta Kapoor even took to her IG stories to reveal the fact that Naagin’s TRPs have been the highest that any new show has scored in the last 1 year.
Talking about this achievement, Tejasswi Prakash who plays Pratha in the Naagin 6 said, “I am so overwhelmed. When I was informed about the TRP, I couldn’t believe it at first. I am super- happy with all the love that the audience is showering on the show.”
Naagin 6 has left many popular Indian shows behind in term of BARC ratings including Indias Got Talent, The Kapil Sharma Show, Hunarbaaz. The show stars Manit Joura, Simba Nagpal, Urvashi Dholakia, Sudha Chandran, Abhishek Verma among others. This season inspired by pandemic where Naagin will save the country from the disease.
