Sidhu Moose Wala’s death has been nothing but shocking for the entire nation. The singer-songwriter, one of the most popular and influential in current times, was shot dead on Sunday, May 29, in a tragic assassination executed by what is assumed to be allegedly the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
It is safe to say that fans in Punjab are still not taking the news well. Still in disbelief, ardent fans have now gathered outside his palatial house, as they wait to bid adieu to the singer before his cremation, expected to be held today at 12 PM.
For those of you who may not be aware, Sidhu Moose Wala’s body was taken for an autopsy yesterday, following which he was brought back home in an ambulance from the Mansa Civil Hospital. Amidst a number of policemen, the singer was finally taken home for the funeral.
Fans and admirers have been thronging his residence in large numbers to say their final goodbyes as well as demand justice for the slain singer. Showcasing anger at the government and gangsters, the mass consensus amongst fans seems to be that he paid the price of stardom at a very young age.
According to an autopsy report, 25 bullet wounds were found on the singer and excessive bleeding has been ruled as the probable cause of death.
