The news is that Nikhil driwedi is making a three film trilogy on an adventurous script .Reportetdy Bollywood actress Shraddha kapoor is playing naagin in this trilogy.

Nagin is a 1954 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film, directed by Nandlal Jaswantlal, and written by Rajendra Krishan Hameed Butt and Bijon Bhattacharya. It stars Vyjayanthimala and Pradeep Kumar, and has a hit musical score by Hemant Kumar. This film was partly produced in Technicolor.
Reena Roy – Nagin (1976)
The multistarrer Nagin is a 1976 cult classic directed by Raj Kumar Kohli. Starring Reena Roy, Sunil Dutt, Feroz Khan, Sanjay Khan, Vinod Mehra, Rekha, Mumtaz and Jeetendra, among others, Nagin was a big blockbuster at the box office.
Sridevi – Nagina (1986) and Nigahen (1989)
Nagina was the most successful of all the movie made on this plot.
Harmesh Malhotra’s Nagina starrer Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Amrish Puri. Three years later, the filmmaker decided to make sequel of it, an unheard phenomenon back then as far as Hindi films are concerned.
And in 1989, Nigahen: Nagina Part II was released. The sequel starred Sridevi as the daughter of Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi’s character from the first film and also starred Sunny Deol, and Anupam Kher as protege of Amrish Puri’s character from the prequel. Unlike Nagina, Nigahen failed to make a mark at the box office. The movies featured chartbuster track, Main Teri Dushman, Dushman Tu Mera.
Meenakshi Sheshadri – Nache Nagin Gali Gali (1989)
Starring Meenakshi Sheshadri and Nitish Bharadwaj, this 1989 film by Mohanji Prasad was a forgettable affair at the box office. It had both the main leads playing shape-shifting serpents.
Rekha and Madhavi – Sheshnaag (1990)
Directed by KR Reddy, Sheshnaag starred Rekha, Rishi Kapoor, Madhavi, Danny Denzongpa and Jeetendra. The movie had Jeetendra and Madhavi as Icchadhari naag and nagin. After Rekha’s character dies, the nagin transforms into the deceased sister to protect her brother played by Rishi Kapoor.
Manisha Koirala – Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002)
A remake of Raj Kumar Kohli’s own 1976 blockbuster Nagin, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani is a pop culture phenomenon for all the wrong reasons. A flop upon its release, it is one of the most watched films on TV. It is so bad that is now a cult classic. The movie starred Manisha Koirala as Icchadhari Nagin and Armaan Kohli as Icchadhari Nag. It also featured a plethora of stars lik Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shtty, Aftab Shivadsani and Sonu Nigam.
