Sheetal Thakur, who married Vikrant Massey in an intimate ceremony a few days ago, has revealed new photos from her wedding festivities. Sheetal published a series of photos of herself dressed as a traditional Himachali bride at a pre-wedding celebration on her Instagram account.
In photographs that appeared to be from her chooda ceremony, the Shukranu actress was clothed in a brilliant crimson outfit with golden embroidery. She also wore a large gold nose ring, as is customary for Himachali brides. The photos showed her family”s women assisting her in putting on the crimson chooda in preparation for her wedding. Sheetal was also spotted wearing silver anklets and kaleeras as part of the rites.
While posting the series of pictures on her Instagram handle, Sheetal wrote in the caption, “Making of a Himachali bride.”
The couple, who married on February 18, made sure to enjoy their wedding functions away from the media glare. The new bride also changed her name in the Instagram bio from Sheetal Thakur to Sheetal Vikrant Massey.
