Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are rumored to be tying the knot on April 17, the next week. As the couple’s speculated wedding date inches closer, fans went on a trip down memory lane as Ranbir’s parents and veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding reception invitation went viral on social media.
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding reception invitation card was given out by the former’s parents Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor. The couple’s reception was held on January 23, 1980, a day after their wedding.
The card read, “Mr & Mrs. Raj Kapoor requests the pleasure of your company on the auspicious occasion of the marriage reception of their son Rishi (Grandson of Late Mr. and Mrs. Prithviraj Kapoor) with Neetu (Daughter of Mrs. Rajee Singh) on Wednesday the 23 January 1980.” One of the fans commented on the post saying, “Ralia card should be of a similar theme.”
While Alia and Ranbir will reportedly get married on 17th April, the pre-wedding festivities like the Mehendi and the Sangeet ceremonies are expected to start next week.
