With Shahrukh khan coming to the lead role after 4long years ,Pathaan has started on a thunderous note.
Released across 5500 screens in the domestic market, the film saw an addition of nearly 300 shows after the initial shows concluded, making it the widest release ever. This wide release, coupled with the massive advance booking and the fact that the film releases in multiple languages has greatly benefited the business of Pathaan. Currently, as things stand Pathaan has seen occupancy in the high double-digit range [50 to 60%] over morning and noon shows . In fact, the occupancy over evening and night shows is expected to see an increase in footfalls, propelling the business further.
Currently, Pathaan, which features one of the highest all-time screen count, was expected to draw in over Rs. 40 cr. on its opening day. However, with the advances and spot bookings thunder , it might propel collections past the Rs. 50 cr. mark on Day 1.
