The actress, who was a Manish Malhotra bride, looked stunning in a series of bridal outfits. However, what’s interesting is that her wedding reception saree was initially intended to be the classic red typically associated with Hindu weddings.
In a post on Instagram, Manish Malhotra, the renowned designer, shared details about Parineeti’s reception look.
He mentioned that their discussions at his Mumbai Atelier revolved around a red saree for the cocktail after the wedding celebrations. However, the idea evolved into something chic and modern. This led to the creation of the “Rosette Blush” crystal sequin saree, a glimmering blush pink outfit with contrasting golden borders, which Parineeti ultimately chose to wear.
The ensemble was further enhanced with a Manish Malhotra veil, a graceful tulle cape inspired by the designer’s Bridal Collection 2023. Parineeti accessorized with Manish Malhotra’s Mehr necklace, featuring diamonds and Russian emerald drops, as well as uncut diamond earrings and rings adorned with emeralds and diamonds from the designer.
Her matching chooda, a set of traditional bridal bangles, completed her bridal look. Despite the initial plan for red attire, Parineeti Chopra’s final choice showcased her preference for pastel hues, adding a touch of modernity to the traditional wedding ensemble.
