Madhuri Dixit is all set to make her debut on the web. Her debut web series is named The Fame Game and its trailer was launched on Thursday. The Netflix show will depict Madhuri as an actor named Anamika Anand who has a ‘dark side’ to her fame.
The trailer begins by introducing Madhuri as superstar Anamika Anand and subsequently gets missing. This prompts an investigation which then unfolds her ‘imperfect life’.
Madhuri said, “I play a superstar in the film and also have a husband and kids. But my real life is different from what you get to see in The Fame Game. I have been fortunate that I have worked with the best of filmmakers and co-actors. My family shares a much warmer relationship with me.”
Earlier, Madhuri had given everyone an insight into the web show’s theme by writing, ‘Be it stardom or glamour, everything has a dark side to it. Know more about the flip side of fame in Bollywood star Anamika Anand’s life in the series The Fame Game.”
The show will begin streaming on Netflix from February 25.
