Madhubala Biopic: Sony Pictures to Produce Madhubala Biopic: A Tribute to the Icon of Indian Cinema

Sony Pictures International Productions has joined hands with Brewing Thoughts P Ltd and Madhubala Ventures to produce the much-anticipated biopic of the legendary actress Madhubala.

Titled simply “Madhubala,” the film aims to pay a heartfelt tribute to the iconic figure of Indian cinema whose influence continues to resonate across generations.

Helming this ambitious project is director Jasmeet K Reen, renowned for her directorial debut with “Darlings,” a film starring the talented Alia Bhatt. With a promising track record and a keen eye for storytelling, Reen is poised to bring Madhubala’s captivating journey to life on the silver screen.

The production of “Madhubala” is a collaborative effort between Sony Pictures International Productions and Brewing Thoughts P Ltd, led by producers Prashant Singh and Madhurya Vinay. Adding a personal touch to the project, Madhubala’s sister, Madhur Brij Bhushan, and Arvind Kumar Malviya from Madhubala Ventures, join as co-producers, ensuring that the biopic remains faithful to the essence of Madhubala’s legacy.
