The 70th Miss Universe pageant took place on 12 December this year in Israel. This time 21-year-old Harnaazy Sandhu of India has got the crown of Miss Universe 2021. In the year 2018, Harnaaz also acted in The Landers music video ‘Teratali’ after winning the title of Miss India Punjab. After this she won the title of Miss Diva Universe India 2021.

Harnaaz, fond of fitness and yoga, started participating in beauty competitions from a young age. She also won the title of Miss Chandigarh in the year 2017. A year later, Harnaaz has also got the crown of Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018. After clinching these two coveted titles, Harnaaz participated in Miss India 2019, in which she managed to make it to the top 12.
Even before becoming a part of Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz has cemented her place in films. She will be seen in two Punjabi films ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ and ‘Yaara Diyan Poo Baran’ to be released next year.
Harnaaz, who is very much in love with her fitness, also loves nature very much. His views on global warming and nature conservation influenced the judging panel in the Miss Diva pageant. They believe that we still have time to save the earth, so nature should be conserved as much as possible.
During Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz impressed everyone with her beauty from swimsuit to national costume session wearing a pink colored lehenga with a matching umbrella in her hands. Her traditional outfit was showing the royal look of the Indian queen.
More than 75 contestants took part in the preliminary stage of the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel on 12 December. At the same time, many beauty queens including Miss Sweden, Miss Thailand, Miss Ukraine, Miss USA, Miss Venezuela, Miss Cameroon, Miss Brazil, Miss British Virgin Island participated in this race. However, leaving South Africa and Paraguay behind, India’s Harnaaz Sandhu took the crown of the cosmic beauty.
Actress Urvashi Rautela was also included in the judges panel of Miss Universe 2021 contest. Dia Mirza also arrived from India to be a part of this ceremony.
