Kareena Kapoor’s shooting in North Bengal’s Kalimpong is not just working. The actor is not only exploring the mountains, the eateries and local cuisine but also meeting school friends and exchanging old school pictures. The current Kalimpong trip, according to Kareena, has proved to be a treasure trove.
Kareena is currently shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s film, an adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X, in Kalimpong. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma among others. The film is bankrolled by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Sujoy Ghosh and Thomas Kim.
Kareena revealed that she met her school friend in Kalimpong, who shared two valuable pictures from their 1996 school trip to Rajasthan.
Sharing the pictures, Kareena thanked her friend for sharing the pictures with her and wrote, “Went to Kalimpong to shoot a movie left with a treasure trove our profession has a wonderful way of connecting the dots through our travels. Welham Girls Rajasthan trip. Circa 1996. Thank you @dolkad for these.”
Apart from The Devotion of Suspect X, Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. This film is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks.
