John Abraham, who made his Bollywood debut in 2003 with the hit film Jism, is one of the most consistent actors in Bollywood. As per the latest buzz, ever since his 2019 release Batla House turned out to be a hit at the box office, Abraham has been constantly increasing his fees. He currently has several interesting projects in his kitty and one of them is “EK VILLAIN RETURNS”. Reportedly, he has charged a whopping amount for the much-awaited sequel.
John’s remuneration for Ek Villain Return is Rs 21 crore. Yes, you read that right! Over the last 3 years, John’s acting fees have jumped from Rs. 7 crores to Rs. 21 crores.
Ek Villain Returns is set to hit theatres in July 2022, just in time for Bakri Eid. He appears in the film alongside Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria, who play the female roles. It is a sequel to Mohit Suri’s original smash, Ek Villain, which starred Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Shraddha Kapoor. The film is currently in post-production following the completion of the shoot.
On the career front, Abraham was last seen in Satyameva Jayate 2 which turned out to be a huge disappointment at the box office. He will next be seen in Lakshya Raj Anand’s Attack.
