Late singer KK’s mortal remains arrive at SSKM hospital for post-mortem in Kolkata, West Bengal. The ace musician had passesd away on May 31 after a live concert in the city here.
West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee announced that the state government will arrange for gun salute for late singer KK. Krishnakumar Kunnath who was known popularly as KK, passed away at 53 after performing in a live concert in Kolkata.
On Tuesday night, playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known as KK, passed away in Kolkata. He was 53 years old at the time. The musician is said to have died after becoming ill while performing at a Gurudas College event in the city’s Nazrul Mancha. He was pronounced dead at the city’s CMRI hospital.
He is best known for popular Bollywood numbers such as ‘Ankhon Mein Teri’ from the movie Om Shanti Om, ‘Zara Sa’ (Jannat), ‘Khuda Jaane’ (Bachna Ae Hasino) and ‘Tadap Tadap’ (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam).
