Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared the trailer of the film and wrote, “My first film as a producer!!!So excited, nervous, thrilled, emotional to share it with you!!!!DARLINGS TRAILER OUT NOW!
In this film, Alia Bhatt can be seen playing the role of Badru Qureshi, veteran actress Shefali Shah will be seen as her mother, and Vijay Varma is essaying the role of Gaurav Mathur, who is Badru’s boyfriend in the movie.
The story revolves around a couple Badrunissa and Hamza who is seen to be madly in love but after a while, it showcases how the wife is a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her husband who goes missing.Badru and her mother also filed a missing report and in the meantime, the mother-daughter duo took us around the journey of their lives, who are living in Mumbai and fighting against the odds.
Alia has forayed into production with this film, which is slated to air on August 5, on Netflix.
