South superstar Dhanush and the beloved Rashmika Mandanna are teaming up for director Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film, which is currently referred to as D51. This much-anticipated venture is scheduled to commence shooting next year.
According to the latest reports, Dhanush and the film’s team will begin filming D51 in the first half of 2024, with locations in Mumbai and Cochin. While the specific details of the film are being kept confidential, there are reports that it will have a political backdrop and be inspired by real events.
The film is produced on a grand scale by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. The music for the film will be composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad.
The excitement surrounding the film is at an all-time high, not only because of the collaboration between the director and Dhanush but also due to the star-studded cast, featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and superstar Nagarjuna in a pivotal role.
While the release date and other details are currently being kept under wraps, the makers have confirmed that D51 will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
