I just knew I wanted to become an actor, and I was already working on it. I still vividly remember the muhurat of my first film Betaab at Mehboob Studios. Bobby was there too. He was very young. The entire industry was there. The stage was completely packed. I read the dialogues and delivered them straight away. I was not nervous at all.”

The valley where Betaab movie was shot was renamed after this movie .The movie was beautifully shot here in 1983, and the valley’s name was changed after the released movie became a blockbuster. This was done to boost tourism for this reason, according to people.
Betaab Valley is located just 15 kilometres from Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. For all the people who are unaware, the original name of this place is Hagan Valley or Hajan Valley.
