On Oct 25, the 67th National Film Awards ceremony has taken place. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu facilitated the awards this year and those who won include Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut, who got her fourth National award for her performances in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi and Panga.
She has earlier won the Best Actress National award for Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, and Best Supporting Actress award for role in Fashion.
Dhanush and Manoj Bajpayee bagged best actors award for Asuran and Bhonsale respectively .
Apart from this, Priyadarshan’s Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham was declared the best feature film and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan was named best director for Hindi film Bahattar Hoorain by the National Film Award jury. Sushant Singh Raput-starrer “Chhichhore” was adjudged the best Hindi film.
