Emma Stone, the Oscar-winning actress, is in negotiations for the leading role in an untitled movie produced by Shawn Levy for Universal Pictures. What makes this project even more intriguing is that Stone’s husband, Dave McCary, former Saturday Night Live segment director, is also in talks to helm the film.
This collaboration marks McCary’s second feature directorial project following his 2017 comedy-drama, Brigsby Bear. While details about the plot and characters are still under wraps, the project boasts a promising team, with the script penned by Patrick Kang and Michael Levin, and production by Dan Cohen, Dan Levine for 21 Laps, and Michael H. Weber.
