“Hum” is a hindi film directed by Mukul Anand released in 1991,It consists of ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Govinda ,Kimi katkar, Shilpa Shirodkar, Deepa Sahi, Anupam kher, Annu kapoor, Danny Dengzogpa .

1. Initially, the movie was titled “Janata Ki Adalat”, but later the title was changed to “Hum”.
2. The film marked the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth after many years, their last film being “Andha Kanoon” in 1983.
3. Deepak tijori was supposed to play the role of Rajnikanth’s younger brother, but he opted out of the film due to date issues. The role was later played by Govinda.
4. Javed Akhtar was initially roped in to write the lyrics of the film. But due to creative differences, he was replaced by Anand Bakshi.
5. The song “Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum” was inspired by the song “Sherry” by Four Seasons.
6. The movie was a huge commercial success and was the highest-grossing film of the year 1991.
7. The film also won several awards, including four Filmfare awards – Best Actor (Amitabh Bachchan), Best Supporting Actor (Anupam Kher), Best Director (Mukul Anand), and Best Editing (Mukhtar Ahmed).
