With less than a month left for the release of Shamshera, the promotions for the film have been kickstarted and are expected to be in full swing in the coming days.
After unveiling the first teaser of the action drama, the makers have now released the character posters of its lead cast which comprises Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.
Taking to their social media handles, Yash Raj Films firstly shared the three character posters one by one, along with their names in the caption. Soon, the leading lady of the Karan Malhotra directorial, Vaani reposted the three posters.
While sharing her own look from the film, Vaani wrote, “She is relentless and has a heart of gold. She is Sona! #ShamsheraTrailer Out Tomorrow. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July.”
Taking to the comment section, Ranbir’s wifey Alia dropped a number of fire-emojis indicating that she is impressed with Vaani’s character poster.
Vaani, who is playing a performer named Sona in Shamshera, recently spoke about her character. She said, “Sona has a strong willpower, she is confident, a go getter yet has her own emotional vulnerabilities. She’s definitely one of the most refreshing characters I have played on screen.”
Set in the fictitious city of Kaza, Shamsherafollows the story of a man who fights to free his tribe from a ruthless authoritarian general. The film will hit the screens on July 22.
