The shooting of Kamal Haasan’s Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was wrapped up recently. The team organized a party, too, for the same and a video of the event did the rounds on social media recently. The former’s production house Raaj Kamal Films International has produced the project.
It is now heard that Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the streaming rights of the movie. A source reveals that the digital and satellite rights of the film were sold for 112 crores. It is also heard that the makers have reaped profits from this deal itself.
The title teaser of the movie was unveiled on the actor-filmmaker’s birthday in 2020 and a special glance was revealed on his birthday in 2021. The shooting of the project was disrupted sometime ago when Kamal tested positive for COVID and isolated himself for a few weeks.
Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Narain, Kalidas and Shivani Narayanan among others play pivotal characters in the action thriller which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Girish Gangadharan and Philomin Raj have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the film, which went on floors in 2020.
