Actor Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar made their first public appearance on February 21. They also distributed sweets to the paparazzi after registering their marriage in front of family and friends. The couple had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on February 19.
The couple exchanged vows, instead of a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony or a nikah.
While Farhan looked handsome in a gold-toned traditional outfit, Shibani looked beautiful in an embroidered beige-coloured saree.
Farhan and Shibani got married in the presence of their family and close friends at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse on February 19. Their wedding guest list included celebrities like Anusha Dandekar, Gaurav Kapur, Samir Kochhar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidhwani, Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora and Hrithik Roshan.
According to reports, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will be hosting a grand reception in Mumbai later this month. Due to the Covid-19 protocols, their wedding was a private affair with only close friends and family in attendance.
