Born to veteran Bollywood actress Bhagyashree and Himalaya Dasani, Abhimanyu Dassani followed the footstep of his parents and moved to California to study acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and New York Film Academy. After he returned to India, he continued his practices at Anupam Kher`s institute and later went on to assist Rohan Sippy for films like Dum Maro Dum (2011) and Nautanki Saala (2013).
Abhimanyu made his Bollywood debut in 2018 with Vasan Bala’s ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ opposite Radhika Madan. He earned praise for his work in the action film and even won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Male.
