Shahrukh khan is the founder of Meer Foundation that works towards empowering women and aiding acid attack survivors. The foundation recently arranged a virtual meet of SRK with acid attack survivors, wherein the former was seen engaging in a casual words with the warriors and also shared a sweet memory of his mother from his childhood.
A survivor showed Shah Rukh a photo of his face adorned with henna on her hand. The actor, in his witty best, asked if the mehendi design actually looked like him and not some other hero.
The actor then went onto recall a fond memory of his mother during his childhood in Delhi ,when his mother, late Lateef Fatima Khan, would apply mehendi on his palms to beat the Delhi heat.
He was heard saying, “Bachpan mein seriously bata raha hoon… meri mummy lagati thi mujhko. Ghar mein, Dilli mein garmi hoti thi. So they used to say thodi mehendi lagao toh garmi zyada nahi hoti. To aise round bana deti thi meri mummy yaha pe,” showing the middle of his palms wherein his mother would apply mehendi.
On work front,Shahrukh will next be seen in Pathan.
