Vishwatma was one of the hits of 1992. It features Sunny deals,Naseeruddin shah and Chunky Pandey in the lead.Divya Bharti, Sonam and new bie actress were paired opposite these lead actors respectively. Amrish puri played the antagonist in the movie.
Rajiv rai was making this movie after his hit movie,Tridev which stars Sunny deol ,Naseerddin shah and Jacky shroff as lead.Rajiv wanted to recast this actors in Vishwatma too but Jacky shroff said no this movie .
Why Jacky shroff backed off the movies
The reson why Jacky shroff backed off from this movie because of some unwanted reason .Actually the movie was to be Shot in Kenya and other different countries.Meanwhile Jacky shroff became father as his son tiger was born.One pandit jee told Jacky to not visit any other country for few days or months as this is not good sign for the health of tiger .Jacky doesn’t want to take risk so he denied to be part of Vishwatma.
Who replaced Jacky
Chunky panday was chosen to play the third lead at the place of Jacky. Some changes were made in the script as Chunky’s character was given comic flavour.
The film was hit upon hit and best remembered for its song” Saat Samundar Paar which features Divya Bharti and Sunny deol.
