Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi recently got married for the second time to Rupali Barua.
The couple had an intimate registry marriage at a Kolkata club. Photos from their wedding ceremony have surfaced online, showing Ashish dressed as a groom in a Mundu from Kerala, while Rupali wore a white and golden Mekhela Chador from Assam, adorned with South Indian temple-inspired golden jewelry. The wedding was attended by close family and friends only.
Rupali Barua, an entrepreneur from Guwahati, is known for her upscale fashion store in Kolkata. Ashish Vidyarthi, who has visited Kolkata multiple times, met Rupali some time ago, and they decided to take their relationship forward. The couple wanted their wedding to be a small family affair.
Ashish Vidyarthi, in an interview with a daily newspaper expressed his joy at marrying Rupali at this stage of his life. They had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening. Rupali described Ashish as a beautiful human being and a great soul to be with.
Ashish Vidyarthi was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, the daughter of actor Shakuntala Barua, with whom he has a son named Arth Vidyarthi. The actor, known for his complex and dark roles, was last seen in the films “Trial by Fire” and “Kuttey.”
