Born on 23 December 1990 in Mumbai, Sonali Raut graduated from Mithibai College, Mumbai. Sonali is the sister of supermodel Ujjwala Raut and her father is the Deputy Commissioner of Police. In 2010, at the age of 19, Sonali became Kingfisher’s calendar girl.
Sonali later went on to be the face of many popular brands like MAC Cosmetics, PC Chandra Jewellers, Limca, Westside, Pantaloons. Apart from this, Sonali has also worked in several television commercials like Idea with Abhishek Bachchan, Siyaram with Neil Nitin Mukesh and iBall. In 2011, Sonali did a photoshoot for Maxim magazine with actor Ranveer Singh, for which both of them made a lot of headlines.

In 2016, Sonali Raut was also seen playing the role of Shiney in the film ‘Great Grand Masti’. She was also seen in the item song of the film ‘Lipstick Laga Ke’. The song ‘Lipstick Laga Ke’ became so popular that it was one of the top 20 songs of 2016.
In the year 2020, Sonali appeared in director Bhushan Patel and producer Mika Singh’s web series ‘Dangerous’ along with Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. This series was written by Vikram Bhatt. In the year 2020 itself, a music video named ‘Sniper’ was released with Sonali’s singer Shaan.
