Poonam Rajput started her film career in 2015 with the Punjabi comedy film ‘What the Jatt’. Poonam Rajput made her Bollywood debut with Vidya Balan starrer ‘Begum Jaan’.
Poonam Rajput was seen co-starring with Vidya Balan in Mahesh Bhatt’s film Begum Jaan, directed by Surjit Mukherjee. Actress Poonam Rajput played the role of Rani in the film. However, the film could not do much at the box office.
Poonam Rajput was also seen in the movie ‘Dance Bar’. Poonam Rajput won the applause of the audience by working in the second season of ‘Mirzapur’. Poonam has also worked in about 45 albums and serials including MH One and MTV. At the behest of a friend, Poonam tried her luck in the world of glamor and auditioned for the MTV show Darr Ke Age Jeet Hai. After the selection, Poonam stepped into this glittering world.
After coming to Mumbai in 2011, Poonam became a part of TV serials like ‘CID’, ‘Chandrakanta’, ‘Code Raid’ and ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’. Poonam also reached the grand finale of the TV reality show ‘Face of Beauty’. Poonam has also worked in more than 40 video albums.
Born in Doli, a small village of Chadhiyar in district Kangra, Himachal, Poonam Rajput belongs to an ordinary family. Poonam Rajput was fond of acting in films since childhood, which she has fulfilled. After doing MBA from Chandigarh, she entered the modeling world and started her struggle for Bollywood.
Poonam does not have a father, but Poonam did not give up while fighting and fulfilled her dreams. Poonam fulfilled this dream with hard work without any help.
