Akshay Kumar, whose real name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, got his break in the Hindi movie industry in the late 1980s. He initially started his career as a martial arts trainer and worked as a chef in Bangkok before coming to Mumbai to try his luck in the film industry.
In 1987, he got his first break in the film industry with a small role in the movie “Aaj,” but it went unnoticed.The film also starred Rajbabbar and kumar gaurav in the pivotal role.
His first noticed performance was in the film “Saugandh” .He was paired with Actress shantiprioya in the movie .
But ,his breakthrough came in 1992 with the movie “Khiladi,” which became a huge commercial success and established him as a leading actor in the industry.
Since then, Akshay Kumar has gone on to become one of the most popular and successful actors in Bollywood with a string of successful movies to his credit.
