Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan has been in the news for the longest time and the wait seems to be finally over. Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1 releases on September 30 this year in not one, but five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The film’s Hindi teaser has been unveiled by Amitabh Bachchan today and well, it looks grand and how.
Everyone seems to have done a great job at the visual spectacle that the teaser seems to be. All that is there to wait now is to see the trailer of this opus that’s been one much anticipated watch for all the cine-goers.
The epic drama stars Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Prakash Raj. The film will simultaneously release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada on September 30, 2022, in theaters.
The music is composed by Oscar-winning musician A R Rahman. The movie’s financing was provided by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
