A R Rehman held a grand wedding reception in Chennai last night and many who’s who from the industry were in attendance. In addition, there were also live performances from some of the artists as the stage was set.
Among those who were a part of the celebrations, also include Honey Singh & Sonu Nigam. Both of them showered their blessings on the bride and groom. In fact, Honey Singh also took to social media and shared a photo. He went on to write, “Best wishes to the blessed couple and congratulations to the whole AR Rahman sir’s families and fans!! @arrameen @arrahman.”
Khatija opted for a purple ensemble while Riyasdeen suited up in black and a bowtie. AR Rahman, on the other hand, opted for a traditional outfit and wore a kurta pyjama with a blue jacket. His son, Ameen, wore a sherwani.
Earlier, Rahman had shared a family picture to announce daughter Khatija’s wedding on May 5. The picture also had a potrait for his late mother near the seating area of the bride and groom. Also in the photo were other family members including elder daughter Raheema, wife Saira Banu, and son Ameen.
