After the tremendous success of the 2018 film “Raid,” Ajay Devgn is set to make a comeback in the much-anticipated sequel, “Raid 2.” The film will be directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
Abhishek Pathak, the film’s producer, shared the exciting news along with a poster of the upcoming film, stating, “IRS Officer Amay Patnaik returns for another gripping case! Get ready for intense drama and suspense with Raid 2 on 15th November 2024!”
The shooting for Raid 2 has already begun in Mumbai on January 6 and is scheduled to have extensive filming in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Following the success of the prequel, Raid 2 is expected to bring even more intensity, drama, and suspense, promising audiences a thrilling cinematic experience. The first installment, based on a real-life income-tax raid in the 1980s, was known for being the longest raid in Indian history, lasting three days and two nights. Raid 2 aims to build on this success and deliver a captivating narrative with heightened drama and suspense.
