Chhavi Mittal, who underwent surgery for breast cancer, has been in the hospital for a while now. She has been on painkillers to help her heal.
Chhavi is celebrating her 17th wedding anniversary with her husband Mohit Hussein today. To mark the occasion, she posted a photo with her husband from the hospital bed as the two are seen kissing each other. The actress penned a long romantic note for him who stood by her through thick and thin.
She wrote, “Dear @mohithussein, When you asked my father for my hand in marriage, he tried to warn you saying I fall sick frequently. He just meant regular flu, but did you ever imagine that time that I could face such scary illnesses like cancer, and you know the others?”
She added that even if he regrets marrying her because of her illnesses, she would choose him 100 times over as her life partner. “..the way you have stuck with me through everything, I don’t think anyone could’ve. Today, the bond is only getting stronger as we compete 17 years of togetherness in a hospital while my pain is reducing and the annoyingly demanding me is coming back,” Chhavi wrote.
Wishing him Happy Anniversary, Chhavi proposed to her husband if he’d marry her for the next 17 years too.
